ACELI AFRICA Survive and Thrive Programme.

ACELI Africa envisions a thriving agriculture sector where access to finance unlocks the growth and impact potential of SMEs in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda, and thus seeks to strengthen business and financial management capacity of agricultural SMEs so they can qualify for and manage financing.

The  virtual training program will be delivered in the following seven phases over the course of seven months:

Building Business Resilience.

 Each business will learn how to adapt to disruptions while maintaining continuous business operations and safeguarding people, assets and overall brand equity.

Leading a Business.

Each participant will develop the necessary skills to build and manage a successful agribusiness .

Identifying Growth Opportunities.

Each business will leave with a tailored plan on how to identify and pursue business opportunities.

Accessing Finance.

Each business will learn about all the finance options available to them and how they can access them.

Financial analysis and decision making.

Each business will learn how to manage their finances and how to utilize their financial reports to make business decisions.

Building operations and Talent For Growth.

Each business will receive help to develop systems and processes that will ensure sustained growth.

Planning For Growth.

Each business will leave with a tailored plan to scale impact as well as the tools, connections and coaching support to achieve it!

Who is it For:

Growth-stage businesses that are in the agricultural sector that have been in operation for over 3 years. We are looking for businesses that want are looking to thrive and set up structures for growth. The business should be generating revenues of US$50,000 to US$250,000 with 3-10 full time employees.

 

Costs: All costs for the programme are covered by ACELI Africa.

 

Duration: 7 months
