Africa’s Leading Ladies is an online community which provides a platform for leading ladies to share business opportunities, seek inspiration and network with other like-minded talented women.
Founded by Media Personality, Terryanne Chebet, Africa’s Leading Ladies partnered with WYLDE International to strategise on a sustainable plan to equip the network of 365,172 Ladies to be more impactful.
In September 2020, Africa’s Leading Ladies participated in Boost With Facebook training to learn how to expand their businesses on the digital platform and to equip them with digital marketing skills that would help them to penetrate new markets on the online space.
The 546 ladies who participated were trained on setting up business pages to build a presence on Facebook, creating digital content and best practice of engaging audiences to accomplish business goals.
As a Business Strategy expert, WYLDE International representative, Chris Odongo and Anne Ichungwa, provided Africa’s Leading Ladies with two training sessions on how to identify their target customers, how to create value to their clients and challenged the ladies to create sustainable business models that accelerate growth and expansion.
According to Business Development Manager, Cynthia Ireri, WYLDE International has facilitated 40 Boost With Facebook trainings for corporates such as Jubilee Insurance, AWPDK, Stanbic Bank, Samantha Bridal, Norwegian Refugee Council, Celestine Ukpere Consulting amongst others and 43 sessions for general audiences. These trainings enable the corporates and SMEs to be visible online and to tap onto new markets on the digital platform.
Terryanne Chebet encouraged business owners to be take up digital skills to remain visible and connect to their clients. In this pandemic season, she has been encouraging SMEs to be resilient and to “Build back stronger, because there has never been a better time to rediscover your strength.”
